On behalf of the Daniel Omotosho Ajomale family, farewell to a man who stood by us when we lost both parents on same day. It was easy for him to fill the gap because he had always been there for us even when our parents were alive. Though he was an in law to our parents but to us, he was not an in law, he was a father. I remember in those days, when I was in secondary school and used to spend my holidays in Minna. I felt very much at home, like any son would feel in his father’s house. Together with the wife, our Aunt, we were shown much love. My heart goes out to ‘ mummy Minna’ who in the land 50vyears had never been separated from ‘daddy Minna. Ma, may the Lord stand by you and the children in Jesus’ name. Please to consolation in the fact your beloved husband lived a fulfilled life. He touched life here on earth and touched heaven. He lived a selfless life for man and for God. Those who died in Christ are not really dead. They are sleeping and would wake up on the resurrection morning, to be with the Lord forever. My prayer is that we shall all be there, if only we live and die in Christ.

Daddy! if we have more of you, the world would have been a better place…

You lived an exemplary life, you took us all as your children alike, we wined and dined at your residence at will, you gave us home away from home. I remember how we use to gather at your house on Sunday evenings to eat pounded yam and Isapa (vegetable) soup several years ago during our university days in Minna.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. You have left a legacy that will be remembered till the end of time.

My only regret is that you wished we all celebrate your 80th with you alive and not when you are gone, but God knows best. Our joy is that you are right up in the heavens with the saints smiling down on us.

    Rest on daddy!

TRIBUTE TO LATE DEACON JOHN AYANTUNDE OYEDEPO
A man is born to live and to die at the appointed time ordained by God Almighty.
It is with a heavy heart beat with gratitude to God for a life well spent, I write this tribute to Deacon
    Oyedepo.
My family relationship with Deacon Oyedepo and his family started in early 1970.
The Church activities brought us closer right from Youth activities. (Though older than me)
He relate with me as if we are age mates.
I always graduated to his step in the Church activities and even at the Association level (Niger I Baptist
    Association back then).
We were ordained Deacon together with three others in 1981 during the Pastoral era of Rev. Dr. & Mrs D.
    A. Adeniran.
I know Deacon Oyedepo as a strong believer and one who uphold his faith in the Lord Jesus. No one
can change his mind from the Truth.
Deacon Tunde Oyedepo has positive mind both for all youth and the Church.
First Baptist Church Minna recorded so many great achievement during Dn. Oyedepo’s Leadership as
He was able to direct the affairs of the Church when at least four pastors take their leave from the
Church for furthers studies or change of pulpit, (Except one that God calls home) Find this record in the
book( Nine decades of glorious march F.B.C Minna)
Deacon Tunde Oyedepo was a man of time very conscious of time in his doing.
Truthfulness, hard work, time keeper, generous, a man of his word, a helper to others, a teacher,
preacher of the gospel, prayer warrior, a man of faith, principle in nature, committed to the principle
and Command of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Go Ye…………..Matt. 28:19-20. A Baptist to the core, a good adviser
Deacon Oyedepo. I thank God for your life
Momo Dns C. F. Oyedepo and Children it is well with you all.
We shall join them later, how soon I don’t know God Almighty knows.
We shall all fulfill our God ordained time in this world. And we shall all make heaven in Jesus name.
